Antigua on My Mind

Tomorrow is the day! Our mission team, Team Agape, is leaving for Antigua, Guatemala and I could not be more ecstatic. As I prepare for this journey that is sure to be life-changing and scary and wonderful, I keep thinking back to a certain song that perfectly captures this adventure for me: “You Make Me Brave” by Bethel Music.

“You make me brave, You call me out beyond the shore into the waves, No fear can hinder now the love that made a way.”

I am called to step outside my comfort zone. I am called to be the working hands and feet of a loving God that wants to make people feel cared for and honored. Our God is not safe, and that’s pretty exciting.

Our team will be visiting two malnutrition centers, a homeless shelter, an orphanage, and building two to three homes. We are so blessed to be able to do this amazing work. Please pray for spiritual growth and healing, for open and accepting hearts of the people in Antigua, for safety and good health. We so appreciate it; and an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who supported this trip financially or through prayer– we could have never had this amazing opportunity without you!

After we return I’ll be sharing stories and photos of our amazing experience, so keep your eyes peeled.guat guat Thank you again, everyone, we are stoked!
