the times they are a changin’

I’m HOME for winter break and could not be more ecstatic about it. I have beautiful friends with beautiful souls that surprised me with balloons on Wednesday upon my arrival.

This is an exciting time in life. People are getting engaged, graduating, pursuing their dreams and traveling the globe. In a lot of ways it feels like slowly, everything is falling into its perfectly timed place. Personally, I feel as though I am in a beautiful season of joy. I feel healthy and whole, with people around who inspire and bless my life daily. It has been so wonderful seeing friends and family the last few days– it is just what a weary college-student’s heart needs after a long semester. God has spoken into my life and given it meaning in new ways that I have not experienced before.

So now for some exciting news in my little life: this summer I’ll be living in Portland for about a month. And right after I return from Portland, I’ll be doing mission work in Guatemala for a few weeks. I’m not really sure how to express how excited I am in words, so this will suffice for now: hgusjsnanshs!!!

Anyway: thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this great season in my life. God has proven faithful this year and I cannot wait to see what else He has in store.
