Sophomore Beginnings

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

 -Nelson Mandela

The first weeks of class are upon us. Coming in as probably the most interesting class I’ve ever taken would be Biblical Hebrew. This semester is going to be insanely busy with homework, meetings, work, service projects and road trips home. Although I have been missing home quite a bit, today it has seemed as though everything is starting to fall into place.

All in all, I think it’s going to be a productive and wonderful semester at Concordia.

Smell of old textbooks. Paper cuts. Early morning alarms.

Late night bike rides. Jam sessions.

Oversleeping. Pencil squeaks. Meetings. Football games. Coffee shops. Study sessions.

Exams. Dining hall. Parking tickets.

Tiny desks.

Stolen laundry baskets. Climbing buildings.

Belly-aching laughter.
